How to Track an Australia Post Parcel: A Simple Guide

How to Track an Australia Post Parcel: A Simple Guide

Waiting for an online order is easier when you know where it is. Australia Post tracking provides updates as a parcel moves from the sender to its delivery address or collection point.

Here is how the tracking process works for Ozcig orders.

Finding Your Tracking Number

After an eligible order has been dispatched, Ozcig sends a shipping-confirmation email containing the Australia Post tracking number.

If you cannot find the email, check:

  • Your spam or junk folder
  • The email address entered with your order
  • Previous messages from Ozcig
  • Your Australia Post MyPost account, where applicable

Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to appear after the shipping email is sent. This does not necessarily mean the parcel has been delayed.

Understanding Tracking Updates

Common tracking updates may indicate that:

  • Shipping information has been received
  • The parcel has been processed
  • The parcel is moving through the Australia Post network
  • It is onboard for delivery
  • It is awaiting collection
  • Delivery has been completed

Tracking may not update at every physical location. Sometimes several movements appear together after the parcel reaches another processing facility.

Estimated Delivery Times

Ozcig’s usual delivery estimates are:

  • Express: approximately 1–4 business days
  • Standard: approximately 4–9 business days

These timeframes are estimates rather than guarantees. Weekends, public holidays, incorrect addresses, remote destinations and Australia Post service disruptions can affect delivery.

What If Tracking Has Not Changed?

First, allow time for the initial tracking scan to appear. Confirm that the delivery estimate has passed before assuming the parcel is delayed.

If tracking remains unchanged beyond the expected timeframe, contact Ozcig with your order number and tracking number so the delivery can be reviewed.
